VERY nice, Katie. GOOD JOB!! I'll have to send a link to Aunt Tasha. I don't think the cutters are bad. You have some cute ones. Did you enjoy the process???
Nice. You have a real cookie talent. I'm thinking -- Ace of Cookies on the Food Network.
I hear you used a real paint brush from Walmart for decorating. YUK! The inside word (from the USDA Forest Service, Forest Products Laboratory's Wood Finishing Research Work Unit) is that Walmart paint brushes are toxic, but only to certain folks. Walmart employees are immune. The toxin only works on those with an IQ of 25 or greater. Next year, go to Menard's. Their toxins start at 75.
But I'm more than willing to give them cookies a nice try out. My IQ, like everything else, has been declining lately. Give me cookies!
I halved the recipe, so theoretically it should make 7 dozen ... I think I only got about 5 though.
I liked making the cookies -- the decorating was not so enjoyable, but it didn't take me long to get the frosting right, and I was able to make it last so I didn't have to make a second batch.
Jason and I have already had some! -- although every time he eats one, I think ... I wonder how many of that kind I have left!
I'm surprised you didn't like decorating them - that's the fun part! I could show you some Bob Ross techniques that would make your trees happy and your snow sparkle. And remember to never make only one gingerbread man... According to the Tao of Ross "every body needs a friend."

How many did you make?
The real question is are you going to let Jason eat any before Christmas????

I will gladly give you cookies if the toxins don't take me down first!
Wow-super cute!!! They look super yummy too!!
Very nice... please refrain from taking photos of the cookies after you've eaten them and they've worked through your system.

Well, if it's so much fun, Timmy, how come you did it only one year???
