Mama and Papa returned yesterday from 3 days in Door County hoping to re-create their original honeymoon experience from 35 years ago. Everything was exactly the same as then, only different. Attached are a few photos and videos to help celebrate and document this marital bliss milestone. Photos
and videos from our condo.

Welcome to condo life. Did the @#$%ing association raise your condo fee by $25? Technically mine hasn't done it yet, but they'll be voting on it in a few weeks. There goes the neighborhood.
Nice place! Was it clean and well lit? (i.e. Would Charlotte Senior have approved?) How were the meals? I see pictures of flowers, but that's not what gets talked about for years and years after the vacation is over. Any good restaurants?
Yep, clean and well lit. Charlotte Sr. would have approved. It was spotless actually.
We didn't eat a lot of meals there...two breakfasts which we cooked at the condo, no lunches, two dinners..one at the restaurant on the lodge grounds. That is a steak place so we had steak and shrimp, along with a soup and salad bar and bread. It was very good. Next night we had a pizza at a stinky bar but the pizza was excellent. Lots of good sounding restaurants up there but most with hefty price tags for the entrees. By the way, flowers also get talked about for years and years to come. I'm still talking about the lupines on Monhegan Island in Maine..beautiful...and the flower boxes in Switzerland and the bouganvillea in Italy, etc., etc. Tune in!
I like the pictures! The first video looks like it would be a cute place for a wedding ... and it would be perfect with the good restaurant next door!
I'm glad to see that there's a picture of dad (mom mastered the camera) and a picture of mom (dad mastered mom).
The tub sure looks nice and roomy!! I would love to take a dip in that thing.
I'm so jealous -- it looks so nice!
Um, Dad does not "master" Mom.
Hey condo man, if you paint Mom a nice, starving artist style, picture of Italy with bouganvilleas, she may pop for your anticipated condo fee increase for one year, or not. I hope you know that Granddad was into paint by numbers "art" for several years. Even framed them. I'm sorry you came from such loser stock. My bad.
He also framed jigsaw puzzles.. Both your sons seemed to find that a legacy worthy of repeating.
Don't knock my framed Star Trek the Next Generation Puzzle... that was cool. Which reminds me of a great joke Conan told on Wednesday night:
"This is true, there is a new Star Trek cologne coming out soon. This is true. Yeah, apparently the tag line for the cologne is 'Set your phasers to lonely'"
It's just gorgeous there! Glad you had a fun time. Geesh, the condo looked nice and big, nice kitchen and bathroom. Can't wait to hear more about it. Back to feeding two screaming kids:)
